Product Description
Core Classifications
By density: Categorized into low-density (LDPE), medium-density, high-density (HDPE), and linear low-density (LLDPE); higher density correlates with superior mechanical strength, heat resistance, and barrier properties.
By manufacturing process: Includes blown films, cast films, and low-foaming films; products made via different processes exhibit significant differences in thickness uniformity and optical properties.
Key Characteristics
It features excellent moisture resistance and low moisture permeability, as well as resistance to acid and alkali corrosion. It is suitable for use within a temperature range of -70°C to 150°C and is soft in texture and non-toxic. Its only drawback is poor print adhesion, necessitating surface corona treatment prior to use.
Mainstream Applications
Widely used in applications such as food packaging, agricultural greenhouse films and mulch films, surface protection for hardware and electronics, and moisture-proof pharmaceutical packaging; it can also be processed into heat-shrink film for the bundling and packaging of goods.
